Our church enjoys a rich tradition of music. The Department of Music Ministry is a comprehensive program that seeks to be engaging to not only the participants in the program, but the congregation as a whole as well as the surrounding community.
Members of the various choirs lead worship for Sunday services from September through June. They also lead the music in special worship services, concerts, and recitals that are open to the community.
Chancel Choir is a group of congregation and community members that gather to sing praises to God, leading the congregation weekly in our times of worship. The Chancel Choir is open to anyone starting in high school and going through whenever! Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings 7:00-9:00pm in the second-floor choir room.
Children’s Choir is comprised of students in grades 3, 4, & 5. Meeting on Wednesday evenings, students are dropped off at the Christian Life Center (gym) at 5:00pm to share snacks and fellowship. We will then make our way to our rehearsal spaces at 5:15pm to make music together. We then will head back to the gym at 6:00pm for pick-up.
The Angel Choir is a newly formed opportunity for young children in grades K, 1, & 2. Meeting on Sunday mornings during worship, these young voices have fun learning to make music together.
Master’s Ringers Bell Choir meets every Sunday afternoon from 6:00-7:15pm in the second-floor bell choir room. This group is non-auditioned and open to all. Those interested, please feel free to contact the music department so we might prepare adequately for you.
