*PRAYER OF CONFESSION

O God, your Son Jesus rode into Jerusalem not as a conquering king but in humility, the Servant King, ready to complete the task for which he had walked this world. Forgive us, God, for those times when we think too highly of ourselves and remind us always that you ask from us lives dedicated to service, to you and to our neighbors, wherever and whoever they might be. Enable us to take off our cloaks of self-righteousness and lay them down at your feet. Save us, by your steadfast love; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Hear us now, O God, as we lift up our silent prayers of confession to you.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
             world without end. Amen.

Haley & Matt Bielewicz and Gail & George Owens

PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE AND THE LORD'S PRAYER                  Rev. Robert Hunt

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.  For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

O Love, O Love, O Love, that will not let me go, O Love, I rest my weary soul in Thee; I give Thee back the life I owe, that in Thy ocean depths its flow may richer, fuller be.
O Joy, O Joy, O Joy, that seeks me through the pain, O Joy, I cannot close my heart to Thee; I trace the rainbow through the rain, and feel the promise is not vain that morn shall tearless be.
O Love, O Love, O Love, that will not let me go, O Love, I rest my weary soul in Thee; I give Thee back the life I owe, and in Thy ocean depths its flow shall richer, fuller be. That morn shall tearless be. O Love, O Love, O Love, that will not let me go.

*AFFIRMATION OF FAITH                                                The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried.  He descended into hell.  The third day he rose again from the dead.  He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father almighty.  From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
