Please note, these instructions are subject to change and update.

Session approved addition to Covid-19 Protocol  approved as of September 28, 2021

RMPC is aware of the current uptick in Covid cases within our surrounding community. After careful consideration, RMPC will continue to have in person worship services each Sunday until further notice or changes. However, RMPC would encourage every individual to consider the following when attending any church function:

1. Although not required, unvaccinated and vaccinated individuals 18 and older should wear a mask indoors if they have any safety concerns for themselves or others.

2. If anyone has knowingly been exposed to Covid, vaccinated or unvaccinated, please do not attend any indoor function until you test negative.

As the number of people receiving Covid vaccines continues to rise, and State restrictions for in-person gatherings having recently been substantially revised and limited, Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church believes the time has come to modify our Covid Instructions for attending our worship services. Our updated guidelines, as approved by the Session, are in accordance with the best guidance we have from health and medical professionals, government officials, and denominational resources. We have new sanitization methods such as an advanced fogging system and the Halo air sanitizing system installed and in use. We now have streaming capabilities to our Fellowship Hall to allow those who prefer more restrictive protocols to attend worship services at the Church. We welcome all to our worship services each and every Sunday!

YouTube Services: We will continue with worship “live” on YouTube on Sunday mornings (10:30am). Recordings will remain available for later viewing once posted. Anyone who is unable or not comfortable attending in person worship or who falls into a high-risk category is encouraged to continue to take advantage of these virtual worship opportunities. In addition, we can now stream the services to our Fellowship Hall for those who prefer to use more restrictive protocols while attending in person service.

Love Does : A Church-wide Lenten Study

During the Lenten season (February 26 – April 1), Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church is offering a church-wide study of the book Love Does by Bob Goff. So what is it about? “This is a study about God’s love…and the most amazing thing about that love is that it’s not just a bunch of rules…God’s love is different. It changes things. It’s active. It works. It risks. God’s love…does.”

In order to dig deeply, and offer broad participation, the study will focus on Wednesday Night Worship, Study Groups, and Personal Reflection.

Are you excited about this yet? We hope so! Books are available online from major booksellers, but we also have copies in the office for sale for $10.00 to cover costs. Please feel free to drop by anytime to purchase a book!
