COVID-19 - Church Building and Ministry Update

Youth Ministries at Reid Memorial

Reid Youth Ministries

Our purpose is to be filled by God's grace, poured out in service, together in joy!

We are called to seek opportunities to learn and be filled with God’s love and grace and share that love in service and outreach to others. Connecting it all, our fellowship together is characterized by joy and welcome.
When we gather together in Christ’s name we are called to reach out to each other, encourage one another, and treat each other with the love that Jesus modeled for us.

Middle School Youth
Meet Sunday afternoons from 4pm-6pm at Reid Memorial in the Alan Fuqua Center. This time is designed to be a time for youth to connect with each other, their leaders and God. During this time there are lesson and discussion, games, music, energizers and prayer.

Please check the download section for the 2019-2020 Youth Schedule

High School Youth
Meets Sunday evenings from 5:45pm-7:15pm at Reid Memorial in the Alan Fuqua Center. 5:45-6pm is an unstructured fellowship time, while 6pm-7:15pm is intentionally focused on a study and discussion. This year the High School Youth will be using studies by the Youth Cartel that will help them engage in both the Word and in topics about current ideas. Their studies include Quotables: a look at biblical quotes that are often taken out of context and what they really are saying; Anxiety: the Elephant in the Room, Learning to be content and getting practical about it; Women: the fabulous and sometimes scandalous lives of the women we find in Jesus' lineage and what they can still teach us today; and finally "Love Does" the book by Bob Goff teaching us how to discover an incredible life in an ordinary world. Each Sunday night, the Youth Ministry provides pizza for dinner and students are asked to stock the fridge with their favorite drinks (water, tea, soda, etc).

Youth Sunday School Starts at 9:30am in the Alan Fuqua Center
