Honoring the Past,
Building the Future
Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church has a long history of faithfulness and growth since its founding in 1914. Over the years, God has provided for numerous campus enhancements—from the early addition of the Fellowship Hall and Sunday School Rooms to the Sanctuary renovation in 2003. After more than four years of dedicated study and prayer by multiple committees and church members, the Session has discerned that now is the time to “renovate, elevate, and activate” the campus to better embody true Christian hospitality.
The Capital Campaign envisions creating sacred, welcoming, and gathering spaces that honor the church’s heritage while preparing for future ministry. Planned projects include restoring the sanctuary’s stained glass windows and organ system, adding an accessible Memorial Garden, improving parking and landscaping, updating offices and classrooms, and expanding the Fellowship Hall. The historic Montrose Hall will be revitalized as a space for study, fellowship, and community engagement. A legacy fund will also be established to ensure long-term care of the facilities, preserving Reid Memorial as a place where the love of God, grace of Christ, and fellowship of the Holy Spirit are shared through gracious and authentic hospitality for generations to come.
