Frequently Asked Questions
We seek to be authentic and creative in our worship through our preaching, prayers, and music. We encourage you to visit Reid Memorial and experience worship with us this Sunday!
Sunday worship begins at 10:30am both in-person and live streamed.
Sunday School is from 9:30-10:15am. There is something for everyone from nursery to adult.
Nursery is available and staffed by consistent, loving caregivers during Sunday School and all worship services.
Absolutely! We highly value children and their participation in the life of the community. Children ages 3 to 2nd grade may choose to attend Children’s Church immediately following the children’s message during worship or they may remain in worship with you. Make sure your little one picks up a special kids’ bulletin and activity clipboard on the way into the sanctuary.
The Sacrament of Holy Communion is typically observed every first Sunday of the month. In the PC(USA), we believe the celebration of the Lord’s Supper is not a privilege reserved for the “worthy” but rather an invitation to sit at the table with Christ who welcomes the “undeserving who come in faith, repentance, and love. All who regardless of their age or understanding.” (w-3.0409) For those not yet baptized and who desire baptism, an opportunity for baptismal preparation will be made available, just let one of our pastors know.
For your convenience, the sanctuary is equipped with Hearing Loop that can be used with most hearing aids. If you do not have compatible hearing aids, Hearing Loop headphones are also available for use during service. Please ask an usher for assistance.
Come on in! You may also find overflow seating is available in the chapel and the fellowship hall. Both areas are equipped with video and audio streaming.
Nearly all aspects of church life are open to anyone who desires to participate. We welcome your participation, regardless of your membership status. We also recognize that joining a church is usually a sign of a deepening identification with a congregation and that, too, is most welcome. Presbyterian polity requires membership only of those who wish to vote, hold office, or present children for baptism.
