Deacons

Our deacons work to make Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church a warm, loving and caring congregation. To facilitate this caring ministry, Reid Memorial membership is divided into caring cells. Each deacon is assigned a caring cell. Elders also participate in the caring cell ministries. Download the combined deacons and elders Caring Cell Leaders chart

Deacons lead the congregation in caring for:

• those who are shut-in, hospitalized or have long term illness or special needs

• the bereaved (including coordinating funeral receptions and meals)
• members who appear inactive in the life of the church
• all members regarding how they can serve the Lord through Reid ministries
